Fact: I used to hide under the bleachers and eat Doritos during gym class. ((Yes-It's true))
It wasn't until I graduated high school that I truly cared about my health and now, 15 years later, it's my biggest passion. I'd be lying if I said this all came easy to me, it most definitely has not and some days can be my biggest challenge! I've been on both ends of the spectrum and everywhere in between: from overweight and worn down, to sick and struggling with perfecting a non-existent, societal expectation. The journey has been tough, and is forever on-going, yet throughout this time I've learned to zone in and maintain a lifestyle that works for ME.
As a former public school teacher, I learned to use yoga, strength, and running as therapy and after 10 years in the classroom decided to trade my chalk for sneakers and make this passion of mine a full-time career. Currently, I teach a variety of virtual classes as well as train 1:1. I am a Certified Yogi, RRCA Run Coach, Resistance-Strength coach, and most importantly, a first time mom!
The best part of my job? Well, that's being your personal cheerleader and witnessing your bad-ass, barrier-breaking moments. I know the struggle of getting started, or getting 'back to it'-it's truly the hardest part. Together, we'll align your fitness goals with your life goals. My mission is to provide a path that you feel confident and comfortable walking on. A path that is flexible through each stage of life and meets you where you are physically and emotionally with an anchored support system. A path that will challenge you to do something new or maybe take you to the next level. You're here for a reason
